Ube Halaya Balls

These pasalubong favorite ube balls is an easy dessert recipe that your kids will surely enjoy making. With just 5 ingredients rolled into bite-sized balls, you have sweet treats ready to plop in your mouth.

*Makes about 50 balls

Ingredients :

50 servings
0.25 kg Boiled ube, grated
1 cup Sugar
0.5 can Condensed milk
2 cup Butter
1 tsp Vanilla extract
Sugar for rolling

Procedure :

    Mix together ube and sugar in a saucepan and cook over low heat until dry and well-blended.

    Add the condensed milk and continue stirring for about 10 minutes until very thick and shiny.

    Switch off heat. Add butter and vanilla extract and continue stirring until well-blended. Let cool in a bowl.

    Once the ube is cool enough to handle, roll ube into 1⁄2" balls then roll in sugar to coat.
