Time to up your noodle game!
There’s a new ramen spot in Diliman and they’re serving something new: Sizzling Ramen.
While we’re used to ramen being served in hot broth, Kureji takes pride by giving this famous Japanese dish a bit of a twist – First in the Philippines, their ramen is served in a hot stone bowl, sizzling in a rich thick sauce that’ll make any ramen lover’s mouth water.
With different sizzling ramen options to choose from such as Miso Garlic, Chicken Chashu, and Pulled Chashu, we recommend their bestseller – Sizzling Spicy Tomato Seafood Ramen. Filled to the brim with squid, salmon, shrimp, kani, and other seafood goodness this sizzling tomato noodle dish is definite must-try.
Opening its flagship branch in Ayala Malls Vertis North, Kureji has found its way to the food district of Quezon City. Its other branch in Diliman, QC, was originally an old house from the 80’s converted into a sleek modern restaurant which makes dinners feel cozy and warm.
They also serve other Japanese staples such as Pork Gyoza and Prawn Tempura fried to perfection. Aside from these, Kureji also stands out by translating Japanese cuisine into dishes that Filipinos would definitely enjoy.
Take for example, their Sizzling Carbonara Udon, thick udon noodles sizzling in carbonara cream sauce, topped with mushrooms, bacon bits, and egg. If you’re a fan of seafood, you should definitely try their Asahi Butter Clams. Savory fresh clams, cooked in beer and butter. These two are exclusively served at their Diliman branch making your drive up north worth it.
Kureji has shown us an extraordinary Japanese experience and we’re totally crazy about it. They’ve even hinted on opening new branches soon, so stay tuned for more delicious news.
